I really don't see the big deal about the community making a new adopt for themselves.
There are a LOOOOOT of user made adopt species these days...

I don't mean to be a partypooper but it feels like you're trying to "replace" beans since the main adopts are closed.

I come on chickensmoothie and involve myself in JBDs every single day. Even if I have no internet I still think about them, plan about my bean's relationships, and can't wait to come home and talk to my friends in the JBD community. These can help us stick together as friends, and still have critters which are actively open for us to roleplay and have fun with.

I am not trying to ''replace'' Jellybean Dragons. They are not replaceable, and the
only ones who can really replace them are Hiccup and I guess now Wink since the
IR was allowed (?).

There is very many huge differences in the species, the only similarity being that
they have the same fat tail and dog like body, really. They do not have pouch, they
don't breathe fire, they eat meat, they have sea lion noses not just holes, they do
not have horns (excluding the ones that jet out from their cheeks which was meant
to sort of replicate that or a dragon/dinosaur). Even the tail tuff is different (the way
I drew it might look funny but its meant to be like a fish actually).

If you are trying to attack me just because there is interest in my species, and I am
trying to create a place where people can come and enjoy a running species that in
a way are linked to Jellybean Dragons through love and passion of the community, then
I am sorry that you feel that way. I am just trying to have that same feel of community
that JBDs had that is now starting to die off due to the closing. I am not trying to steal
your species, but more trying to make another place where people can have that connection
to eachother.

sorry that you feel this way.

You're not trying to replace them, yet are making a place that is linked to them? With almost the same anatomy structure & one word change in the name?

Also, if JBD's were still open, this would be an obvious copy. But now that's it's closed, it just seems like a replacement if that makes any sense.

There have been real copies of jbds, the whole anatomy is the same and all. I did not copy. All that I was doing was making a otter, dog, and dragon type creature because I thought that the community needed a picker upper after everything that we have loved was shut down and put on hold everything we have ever worked for. I will be closing these now until a later date when I have picked it apart due to ridiculous complaints, when hopefully they will be accepted.

Oh, and to set the record straight. I have offered jbd fanclub members customs of tons of things, including my other species light collectors. I have always done that, because I consider them my friends. By me offering customs here for jbd owners/fanclub members, this was no different than what I have been doing all this time anyways. So don't be silly and say that I am just all of a sudden doing this to ''lure in'' the jbd community. I do it as a gift to my friends, not because I want to beg them to come join my species and pretty much leave jbds. If you think I am like that, then you are very very wrong.

Silly how a gift to the community that I loved just gets all torn into... I think that this is the last time that I do anything of the sort to be honest.

I don't honestly see these as something that looks like JBDs. Yes, the body and the fat tail at the beginning going thinner at the end is similar to JBD's, but how often does that happen? A lot.

Not to pick on any species but there is a BRAND new species up that to me look 100% like JBD's just longer tails and slightly different shaped mouths. However I havent seen any mods comment on THAT particular species, though it was brought up and the owner explained it away. I can see why Hiccup would be confused / upset / thinking Angel is trying to replace JBDs but that isn't the case. This wonderful human being who I have the fortune of calling my FRIEND has given so much to the JBD community, she has offered a species like this before : Here it is here.

I am in no way trying to attack Hiccup or anyone else, but to me what Angel is doing is giving us as the JBD community a place to have a running species as well as a way to stay connected even without the JBD chat, which I know is still going to be up, but I believe with the full closing of the species soon to be the nursery as well people will stop going to the FC. I suppose it is all in the way you look at the species, and pretty much every other species we find on the Adoptable forums...

So yea o_o If anyone wants to further this they're welcome to PM me, and I believe if Hicc has that big of a problem with them then Angel did the right thing by closing them, though she wasn't AT ALL trying to replace JBDs at all.

There now the species has no connection to jbds whatsoever. If you have ANY
issues with my species, you can contact CS staff and they will pretty much tell
you what they have told me about other species that have looked alot more similar
to jbds than this... " They are not JBDs and it is rude to accuse people of stealing
other's species when that is not the case. " (and yes, I care about jbds enough
to report some species/characters that actually look like them...)

I probably won't be doing very much for awhile with them... No adopts are going
to be made, yet, etc... I am just really really depressed and I just want to find firm
footing here.
