I read this and laughed really hard.

you could call me a "newbie" because I joined three months ago. But I've learned a lot.

First: Don't trade your rare pets for unknowns because there is a 90% chance they turn out uncommon.

Second: Don't go questing until after the high demand dies down.

Third: It's not the end of the word if you don't get a stinking lion. End of story.

I mean, I hate to be rude to people, but I've got only a couple good rares and they want me to give them up for a lion. I understand the popularity, but I'm not giving up my tiny chances at getting good pets for one pet. I've only got a couple '09 or '10 pets and I'm getting offers for those too. I had to work hard to get those.

This is also coming form a COPPA just several months away from being a normal player. It's not worth it, really, to give up very valuable pets for Unknown's. It'll just end up another Rare 2012, and people are trading Very Rares for it. o.o

But nobody's going to listen to that 'cause it's a lion. e.o

yes, you see people are offering so much for them which is stupid, because they probably won't be worth that much-

But on the other hand the people with the Lions could very well be evil, very maniacally evil and WANT all the rares people are offering, so therefor they jack the price up, make the stupid people THINK that it's actually worth that much and a simple 2012 rare is now worth 2008 very rare, because some people are that evilly smart, it is a very good scheme for the lion people >:-) I don't have one myself but..

a person traded me 13 pets for my lion, it had this month's store pets, the pink alien store dog, and some guinea pigs :3, and some more that add up to 13

I can promise you right now it won't be uncommon, but I would totally laugh if those people who traded their toxics and stuff ended up with an uncommon lion that wasn't at all in demand any more. like the lynx pps. But these are even more in demand than those!
