Loving the picture and the cause, I'm a big supporter of making transport and slaughter of horses humane and fair. We can't stop the slaughter as they are needed for different purposes,just like cows, sheep etc. I just think there are better ways to make the final hours of their lives as comfortable and stress free as possible.

In answer to there being no Uk slaughter houses, we do infact have three for equines if I remember correctly, but there are some people who would like them closed down, Unfortuantly meaning that the horses will have to be shipped abroad, but then again that is others opinions.

Great drawing, ya I know about all the abuse thats going for the wild horses. I accually have rescued a abused appaloosa from death before, I am doing some tribute art of him right now. His name was Stardust.
