Every time I look at this picture my eyes go all red and puffy. I actually wrote a story based on the wolves being hunted, it's pretty good, but this is better. People should respect the fact that they have such beautiful creatures in their lives, and they shouldn't abuse nature for a piece of fur on the wall.

Its a shame so many people are like 'Don't shoot the wolfy' and 'wolfies are always getting killed for no reason' and bluh like that, when Wolves no longer need our protection, and get shot for thay yummy lamb that I bet you all eat
I understand this is probably a expressing herself piece of art for her.
But all you people saying about wolves being hunter is terrible, why don't you start whinning about real problems like Polar bears, i will quote this 'Polar Bears are endangered due to the man's excessive hunting for their priceless hide, tendons, meat, fat and flesh. Their numbers dwindled from several hundred thousands to a few hundred in a few years time. In efforts to protect Polar Bears, an international agreement was set up in 1973 whereby only traditional weapons were allowed to be used in the hunting of the Polar Bears. ' and they are now also being threatened by melting ice!
So why?

The truth is, hunting wolves helps keep the population down. Everyone's like; OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD SHOOT THE WOLF WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO US? WHY KILL SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CREATURE? I HATE U.

Thus, wolves are overrated. I bet if someone drew a picture about the truth about what's happening to seals, the same emotion wouldn't be showed. I bet that there would be someone commenting on that picture who's comment says; Seals are fine. They won't die out very soon. Wolves, however, are way more endangered than anything! You should stop wolf hunting!

I think that proved that wolves are overrated. Wolf hunting isn't actually a problem to the species of wolves.

Okay, so you guys think I'm stupid for thinking it's terrible, but I have never seen a wolf, I have never been to a place where wolves dwell. And when you think about it, really all animals deserve fair treatment.

Oh, and P.S. to the post above: I love seals, so I probably would show the same emotion, but I agree that the majority would not.

This image isn't about wolf hunting or endangered animals. It is about the fate of a particular family. We do have other users who dedicate their art to other endangered animals.

Gray wolves may not be endangered, but other sub-species are so let them make their frowny faces and talk about how horrible it is to own a gun. (Kind of weird considering I'm sitting right next to the gun safe underneath my parents' room which we keep two rifles under the bed in as well as a bow and arrows in the closet.

Where I live we are not allowed to have wolves. Pretty much, it's a death wish for them to come here.

grr this is soo true sometimes people are so dumb they dont realize they are killing an entire species and for WHAT nothing just the bragging right of saying i killed a wolf i would personally attack anyone who said that

Exactly. Hunting yet necessary at times can be extremely harmful to pack animals.
