Hmm rarely as Oekaki is hard to do that with anyways because I have to jump from link to link,
Sometimes I do a quick doodle on paper while looking at a pic and then draw from that.
But that's usualy for more serious stuff or animals I find hard, like wolves xD

No reference for this, just good ol' imagination :B
