Meri has curly fur which matches Arya, and -since Meri and Boysen are first gen dragons- we have no idea what genetics their parents had.
So honestly the type: long fluff, short fluff, etc. shouldn't be completely crazy and extremely different from the parents, but there's nothing wrong with these two ^^
