No worries, I'm sure that's all it was. My best bet is that you added some if these things subconsciously.
Though honestly, my entry has almost identical rump and horn accessories
I feel bad telling you to edit things, and the design is completely fine, but if you tried changing the shape of the horns a little and the string accessories were placed a tiny bit differently I think I would feel less agitated.
And I still think you should reference that whippet image you used.
This is not art theft just ideas a little to close to mine. But after all they're all just ideas so I'm not saying 'Change that and that and that nowww', just trying to sort this out so I don't feel cheated.

Ok I am trying very hard not to get very upset because this is ridiculous

1.) I was with her when she made species we were drawing on paper at a table not even near computer. We always have based our species off whippets (just like this one is!) because we show together and love our dogs and are often inspired by them. We usually add string and feathers because we love it, and don't ack like that's some sort of original idea of yours, besides its a species based off dreamcatchers so I think it would be weird if she didn't include it.

2.) her and I have NEVER seen or heard of you or your species, so her subconscious did not pick up anything in any way whatsoever. Your designs and species don't even look that much alike!!! It's kind of like saying any equine species is instantly a copy off of WMEs.

3.) you are way to paranoid bro

Okay then, however Rax and I sorted this out calmly, but now you're being a bit rude.
As I said, it wasn't me who noticed this first, but two other people who brought it to my attention, they also noticed the similarities and I just reinforced it.

1) That's alright, string wasn't invented by me obviously, it's just how they were placed was way too similar. I guess it could be a coincidence, but my item came from the back, went in once and hung around the rump, with two feathers on the outside and one loosely closer in, which is exactly like this design so you must look at it from my point of view. I didn't think I knew her either after noticing she entered the contest the same day as I did, though it's understandable if she never looked up my name and this was all a misunderstanding.

2)I said that only the top part is similar and the horns + head look exactly like my whelkon, but again it's a whippet with a similar anatomy as my wolf, just the combination of the antlers made it seem way too close.

3)You should see why I'm paranoid, I noticed how my latest 5 or so drawings had little pieces incorporated into this (which i said was alright too), again, maybeee it was a huge coincidence, but do you see where I'm coming from?

I never said you can't make this an adoptable, but I asked nicely if the horns could be changed a little because I feel I have the right to say 'Wait, this looks too much like my species so please edit it a little so there's not two adoptables out there that look alike', and even though she didn't and simply added a bunch more string, I said I'll let it go and it's fine,
And now you brought it up again.
If you or anyone was on the other side of this they would freak out a lot more than I did.

Oh and,
Rax did post on my 'Pose Practice Project' on January 14th, so don't deny she doesn't know who I am without the proof.
Of course anyone would do anything to defend themselves at this point, but come on. Same contest, she posted on my thread which required her to look at my gallery and drawings anyways, she has many similarities to my latest (not some random) designs, designs that were on the first page of my gallery, so I'm supposed to think she ddn't use at least one of the ideas she saw (maybe as I said, subconciously) in this design?

But even after all this I'm willing to let it go and let it be, but the honorable thing to do now would be if Rax, who I apolagize to for all this arguing, could somehow edit this the slightest bit in a way that would make me feel like I haven't been cheated and made a fool of. Thank you.

Lhwlove, As I said, I am agitated because all the pieces 'copied' are my recent ones, not a random simillar piece.
And by that logic, yours is completely different, the horns are curled with feathers.
Yes, long straight horns were not firstly drawn by me, but their placement, shape, length and the fact they're on a canine with string and tiny gems attached to it, WAS.

My only true reason, she DID see me.

Ok I would just like to say I'm sorry for getting upset. But you must understand when your best friend texts you at school that a person is accusing her of art theft * regardless* of situation my best friend instincts kicked in and I am ready to attack whoever made her upset. And to be quite honest rax is very non confrontational. So being as we are in the dog showing there is a LOT of people who will walk all over you and I am in the habit of standing up for us over wise we are not treated fairly and are walked all over.

That's alright, but ironicaly I;m the same as Rax, because I've let so many people get away with stuff like this and much worse, I don;t tolerate it anymore because I get walked on too much,
But it does matter that she saw me because that was your only proof, however its possible she had the species in mind for a long time so hope they do well.
