It is FINE to hate something but not hate someone who likes it.
I have not watched past the first two episodes and I have to say I really hate it, Does not mean I hate you though.
People have a right to hate and love things but no right to hate someone just because they like something you hate.

I TOTALLY agree with you! A good example would be my love for sushi but the hatred my boyfriend has for it is just SO out there... then again anything fish makes him sick. But he isn't going to stop me from eating it and I won't make him eat it either. My point being, people should learn to live with others who watch/eat/drink/ect things that they hate! Who knows, maybe the MLP fan is a really cool person who this other guy won't give a chance because MLP is something he hates.

I agree. I have recently got into MLP, and so far have watched the start of a few episodes on Youtube, because I don't have the right channel

People like what they like. For example, when people started liking JB, and he became a worldwide craze for girls all over the world, alright, I didn't particularly like him but I wasn't going to throw eggshells at him, either. And for some reason, there only seemed to be two categories; lovers or haters. I hate picking sides. But i'm going to agree with you on this. This is completely wrong. Like, if someone still liked to watch Telletubbies when they were 15, they like to watch Telletubbies! This is the same with MLP. Gosh, it isn't so bad! At least the ponies have freakin personalities, for goodness sake! It's not like you are watching Generation 1 or something!
