note!! he has a cybernetic eye that's basically just a regular eye with scars around it and a double pupil !! he also has small crow wings but its up to u if u'd wanna draw it :3c (also note: i did not draw these, my drawing tablet is down rn so i used picrew)

Okay, this is maybe my favorite thing I've ever drawn. Hugely inspired by SummerCucumber's pretty character ref, I wanted to draw something breezy & floaty & pretty, and this is one of the only times that I've been able to pretty much fully capture the image in my head! (Just for fun, here's the initial sketch.) I really don't draw full bodies very often (or hands, or butterflies) so this was definitely a challenge, but I feel like I learned a lot!

Just a quick note because I feel like I should clarify: I don't think my art is ugly, for the most part! I'm an adult who has been practicing shoulders-up portraits for a really long time, and I'm proud of the hard work I've put into honing that skill. The "are you okay with getting ugly art" part of the form is so that you acknowledge that I am purposefully experimenting with things I HAVEN'T practiced very much (like weird colors, or full bodies, or dynamic poses, or backgrounds), so the completed orders might not be as good as the examples I have up on the first post (which are almost all shoulders-up portraits: the things I've practiced a lot) and they might not be as good as other completed orders (which I might have worked on for more hours or had better ideas for).

That part of the form isn't me fishing for compliments, it's to make it really clear that your expectations might not be met. (And also to keep the pressure off me, so that I know I can experiment with things without worrying about making those things perfect.)

I appreciate the kind words, of course! That being said, I'm going to consider rewording that part of the form so you guys don't feel like you have to boost my spirits lmao.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to write a quick update since I almost certainly won't have an order complete today: I'm working overtime this weekend (I work in public health, and--yeah), so I had to push the expected completion date for the next order back by a few days, but I think I should be able to finish it by the end of the month. c:
