Character's personality:
Saba is a friendly little soosh with an affinity for the ocean! Saba lives in a large conch shell hidden along the shore. He's a minimalist and doesn't require much more than his shell and some fresh seaweed to sleep on. When it comes to eating, Saba loves to munch on shrimp. He fishes them up himself and will cook them back at home or if he can’t wait he’s known to eat them raw. He can consume an amazing amount considering his size.


Saba spends his summer afternoons riding waves or floating around lazily. Since he's so light and airy Saba can sometimes float or even skim on top the salty water. In his free time he often surfs small waves in a nearby tide pool using shells and drift wood. Since Saba likes to spend a lot of time in the water he has to be quick. He's so small that sometimes bigger fish will attempt to snack on him. He's had some close calls but most of the time he's smart enough to dodge them. The energy he stores in his cheeks usually releases a large cluster of bubbles, which he uses to shoot himself out of danger's way.


The clovers in Saba's tail seem to grow there on their own. He can pluck them without any pain and more will grow back in their place. He'll sometimes hand out clovers to friends for good luck. Saba's back and tail are lined with hard scales, these serve as a sort of protective shell for him and they also are pretty to look at.
For the most part Saba is a spunky little guy who really just loves to bum around the beach. He's fairly friendly but a little shy. When humans or other animals visit his beach Saba will hide. It takes a little time to instigate friendship with him but it's sometimes worth it. Saba is very affectionate to his friends and loved ones and will show it by giving licks and lots of snuggles. When he feels threatened or perhaps irritated enough he'll shamelessly blow his bubbles right into your face and run off. Saba doesn't much care for facing the consequences of his sometimes rash decisions.
