muting or marking players in forums

Hi! Sorry if there's been a post like this already, I tried to look for one but I couldn't find one :) Also sorry the subject isn't very clear on what I'm talking about here, wasn't sure how to word it, but the text below should explain what I mean better.


I think it would be a nice feature to be able to somehow mark specific users in forums, especially in the trading forum, so we know who we can't trade with. When browsing the trade forum trying to find people to trade with I often find that there's a lot of people who don't have any pets from my wishlist, or they don't have any on mine. I'll look through their pets, realise there's none to trade with, click out, click into another person, it's the same story, and when I refresh the page those same people I've already checked pop up again. It makes trying to trade a little tedious sometimes.


My ideas for helping this are either being able to entirely mute a player so their post doesn't show up in a forum, or somehow marking their profile, such as marking them so their name shows up a different colour in the forums for just the user that marked them.

If a mute option was added we could have a page like the blocked users page where we can see the whole muted list and remove people when we want their posts to start showing up again. I don't know if this is a possible option since even blocked users posts show up on forums and just give you a popup when you click in, which is why I suggested being able to mark profiles in a different way so we can immediately tell who we can and can't trade with.

Not sure if any of these things are possible but I thought I'd send a suggestion in case they are! I think it would make trading a much more enjoyable experience. Thank you for reading :)
