Dia de los Muertos themed pets should be moved

i noticed that there's some pets on the site that represent dia de los muertos, but they've been put in the halloween event, which i do find a bit disrespectful! dia de los muertos is very much NOT halloween, and there have been historical discriminations and prejudices against the event BECAUSE people keep associating it with halloween! as a mexican, i am requesting that those pets possibly be moved to the november archive, rather than halloween!

if this isn't possible, then i request that all future pets representing dia de los muertos be given either their own event category, or be placed in the november archive, as this is the month that dia de los muertos falls on!

honestly, i would love to see dia de los muertos receive its own event! its a very popular holiday, and it means so much to the people who celebrate it! and as a mexican, i wish to open it to you all to celebrate your loved ones as well! i think there could be some adorable pet designs, like calavera pets, or alebrije pets! even representations of the protectors of the afterlife! i think this could be a beautiful event, with beautiful pets and items to go with it, and i would love to see it considered!

I saw this suggestion in the "all events" thread and though the bolded part should get its own suggestion for visibility since it's a request for change in the archives. It would also be nice to see these pets be released on the holiday itself, in November

Support! I’m not 100% sure what EXACTLY Dia de los Muertos is but I love to see more things represented and more designs (it’s also fun seeing people explaining it in the discussion threads)

Hmm, while I support Dia de los Muertos getting it's own event separate from Halloween in the future moving the already existing Dia de los Muertos pets in the archive would be inaccurate. Wrong as it might be they were released as part of Halloween event, not as their own event during November.

But I know they can write stuff at the top of the archive, so maybe they can write a little disclaimer acknowledging that Dia de los Muertos is a separate holiday from Halloween?

Yeah, moving current pets may be a little harder since we can't be sure which pets are actually inspired by the holiday (some are very obvious), without asking some of the artists. I think if possible the artists should be contacted, or the artists could volunteer to have their pets moved.

I think the pets that already exist should stay where they are, since they were released in the holiday event, but I agree that I would LOVE to see Dia de los Muertos get it's on celebration some years, like how some years we have Kwanza pets, or we've had American Thanksgiving pets some years, Madi Gras, and other occasional celebrations of other cultural holidays or international day of type celebrations.
