A change in blocked visuals

When blocked by a user, you can't see that they have you blocked unless you go to type out a full message to them, and only find out AFTER you hit send. Losing a lot of time and effort only to learn you can't contact them. On there posts or pm page, to have instead of the reply button- "this person has blocked you. You cannot reply/message them."

when looking at an editable by a blocked person it just doesn't show the color me in, and I thought it was a glitch making the mistake of asking about it in a chat. When I realized I accidently leaked info I didn't mean to leak it was too late.

So to avoid this mistake again for myself and others, as well as saving some time on messaging and posts, having it more clear who has blocked you seems important. I know I personally wouldn't want to type something out or accidently contact them cause I don't know. A lot of users block me without even talking to me :shrug: so this would be helpful.

I believe you mean 'blocked' not 'banned'. When you are blocked by a user that means you aren't able to send them trades (and depending on their settings, send them PMs, etc). The block system is already setup so that if you are blocked and not able to PM the user, their profile will be empty and not have a PM button available. If I recall correctly you are also notified that you are blocked if trying to reply to a PM from a blocked user. Its possible that at the time you started writing the PM you weren't blocked yet, and were only blocked after you started writing it, in which case you wouldn't be notified until the page were reloaded.

I still think it should say 'you are blocked by this user.' You are right I meant blocked not banned. I'll fix that in my first post. Cause a glitched profile can also look like that. You are also not gonna look at a user's profile before messaging/posting on one of there threads most of the time. Most of the time you hit that lil pm button and it just sends you to the pm page. It's rare to look at there profile tbh.
