For years CS has maintained a healthy and consistent auction thread that has allowed users to market their high demand/value pets for high profit margins. It’s proven to be an efficient method for users to display their pets to attract buyers.
But what about items? Demand for items generally falls under a by-user preference, so they’re very rarely auctioned unless the item is inarguably a rare product (DIY Cake, vampiric hat, retired store items)
But that doesn’t mean that demand for items doesn’t exist! In fact, item popularity has been increasingly rising over time. Monthly dress up challenges and personal galleries have allowed users to display their artistic creativity for the whole community to see.
The auction forum is intended for pets and items, but has become over saturated with pet auctions. It can be difficult to attract item connoisseurs when the forum is permeated with pet auctions.
The creation of an Item Auction forum would allow item lovers to market their rare or high demand items while simultaneously helping increase market value for items - bringing in more revenue for its users. I think it would be a great way to invigorate the community.
