I support! We need a staff the users can depend on to take action. While I understand Tess, Nick, and the other admin lead busy lives; they can't be here for CS as much as they need to be. It would be in their best interest to pass on the site that has the users best interest.

as much as i hate to say, i agree.

either sell CS to a company who will actually care for the site and listen to the users or get more staff!! considering nick is the ONLY coder on the site (theres atleast 200 people online everyday) we need more staff. and a head mod who will actually do their job and care about us as a whole.

I know most people are probably thinking this, but i mean these people have owned the site for so long it just feels wrong to ask them to sell it.

Maybe tehy should get some more coders, so its not all on one person, but I mean they built it from the ground up, and its been up for over 15 years!

Dont let this one thing get in the way of having fun and enjoying a game with pixel pets!^^

They definitely make money off this site, considering store pets are always rare nowadays instead of VR -- lots of people buy them, and they cost C$, so... Plus, many people buy C$ to buy art. And on top of all that, CS runs ads if you have adblock off.

Personally I wish they would actually hire people, even one or two, since to my knowledge all CS staff are volunteers. But I like how this site has a casual "old web" friendly neighborhood feel instead of something more corporatized, so I don't think this should be bought by a bigger company.

I whole heartedly agree with this because there is just not enough staff and there's a ton more players now than ever.

i agree with this aswell. i just wish someone here would take action, it would break my heart to see tess or nick sell their site, but if they are too busy to handle it themselves , give it to someone who can. instead of making revenue off a site they dont care for anymore.

Hate to say it, really do… but support. I was around during what I consider Chicken Smoothie’s heyday, ~2010 to 2016 or so, and since coming back after forgetting the log-in information to my old account, it seems it’s only gone downhill from there.

Edit: I take back my support for selling the site and instead support those suggesting Chicken Smoothie hire more staff.
