sign in security (2fa)

can we have a "sign in with google" or equivalent? it's significantly more secure as it already has things like 2fa, password leak detection and bot protection-built in. it's considered best practice to use google sign in over creating/using your own sign in system.
if not, at least add 2fa to the cs login page as the security on this site is quite low.

edit: since all the reversed trades, this thread has gotten more attention. so i'd like to add a few thoughts and comments
the recent fiasco has shown that just one account being hacked can have a massive negative impact on a lot of users. i think this highlights the importance of a good reputable log in system over a d.i.y login system like we are on here. (sorry nick D:)

if nick is here for some reason, can i suggest looking into something like azure b2c? it's relatively cheap and includes google sign in and more sign in options. (the first 50k active monthly users is free!) :D

another edit: so many accounts are being hacked, support is needed now more than ever!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought of this recently. Considering how common data breaches are happening (even with media tech giants) we should at least have the option to add an extra layer of security to our accounts here on ChickenSmoothie. Maybe security questions or something we can use with an authenticator app?

Support. I have relatively minimal computer knowledge but I know that someone with ill intentions could very easily take accounts on here with a pretty rudimentary tool. Google sign in and/or the option to turn on 2FA would be very good, maybe require 2FA for weak passwords? I don't use 2FA but I also know what makes weak passwords/why they're weak, I think a lot of people assume it just has to be long and hard for a person to guess, but people get passwords stolen when a computer can guess it.

(To anyone reading if your password is something like [word][number], change it. Even w0rd3 is infinitely better than word3. Also, don't refer to things like birth year (such as word04), as these are going to be among the first numbers computers guess when trying to take passwords. If your password is over 7 characters, uses letters, numbers, and special characters, and does not contain words or meaningful number/letter sequences (abc, xyz, qwerty, 123, 2004, etc), you are going to be WAY safer. This is why a lot of sites require those things as a bare minimum, and say to not use things like names, birthdays, the site name etc in the password.)
