Remove "Special Release" from counting towards collection

I swear I've seen this suggested somewhere before, but I tried searching for "archive" and "collection" in this forum and could not find anything related. Similar suggestion here!

I'm going for a "complete collection*" on this site, like many users, but I personally do not want to include the special release pets in said collection. It really disheartens me to see this in the archive:

My suggestion is that the special release tab does not have the completed/half completed/not completed markers next to it, just like the store pets, or the option to include/exclude store pets & special release pets for those who want or don't want them counted towards their goal.

While I wouldn't be too opposed to this as an idea (not aiming for a full collection myself so it wouldn't affect me either way) I am wondering... what about other old, hard-to-get list pets? Some of the URs are actually much easier to get than just 'normal' lists - compare the new UR Pie (trades at 1.5 nons, average-at-best demand and quite easy to find) to say, a Sunback (~3.5 nons last I saw, very in-demand so much harder to trade for)! Sadly a full collection will inevitably include some toughies and I'm not sure how helpful omitting special releases would be in the long run :c

Again, NOT a no-support, just wondering how big of a difference it'd ultimately make.

No support. They're part of the game despite being difficult to obtain; having no pets that are challenging to get would be boring.

I believe the other thread I couldn't find was about a fully customizable completion where you can pick what kind of complete you wanted.

This specifically talks about URs, which are significantly harder to obtain than older pets, since they're (almost) always omgsr from the start and have always been only obtainable through dec 18. Their demand is entirely irrelevant in this.

But so are the store pets despite costing "real" money to obtain. I'd personally rather the store pets be included than the special release pets, or at least have the option to toggle both on / off.

The demand is... extremely relevant when considering how easy or difficult it would be to trade for them, though? My whole point is that, from personal trade experience, many URs are actually easier to obtain than some old non-URs due to lower demand and the community assigning them less value.

I do like the idea of a 'toggle' for URs and stores though! Not everyone views 'full collection' the same way and that would play nicely to that.

... And I would give the same Support/Comment like I had done in that Thread, => that I would like x2 a Toggle Option 'Include'/'Exclude' for both 'UR's + 'Store Pets'...
