i often run into the issue of not being able to figure out the parents of a 2nd or 3rd gen pet in the archives, and when it's from the last few months i can find the discussion thread and hope someone has posted it in there, but if it's pets from 2012 it gets a lot harder to locate that information. for example, for the november 2012 nullx(something) dogs, i can find the batch of nulls in february 2010, but i don't know which of the three adult dogs is the parent of the litter, and that's only one of the two parents. i looked around for almost an hour before i started looking to see if someone had posted it, but i couldn't find anything.
it'd be really nice if there was a picture of the parents - maybe the "adopt our puppies"/"adopt our kittens" etc picture used during the month - posted before the blanket or something, kinda like this ?
or pictures of the two parents separately with a link/the date of each underneath so people can find them, like this.
