Suggest new features or changes to Chicken Smoothie.

Hi! I noticed the suggestions from this thread are being organized in a way that might get them looked at so I wanted to contribute some ideas that I believe would support trading, reduce inflation, and increase player interest without being too demanding on staff/artists (hopefully).
1. An item you can purchase for C$ that allows you to submit a design for a custom item that can either be approved or rejected. To get more copies you also have to purchase those for C$. Maybe have some limitations on this if it becomes overwhelming to screen.
2. A pound for C$ where you could donate your C$. It could be a thing where only users who don't have any C$ could grab some randomized amount during a "C$ Grab" opening (this way, even players who can't afford C$ actually have a chance of getting some for free). Or it could just be something where everyone who clicks during an opening gets some equal predetermined amount, or some random amount.
3. A special fundraiser for Dec 18 where people donate in C$ and if enough C$ is donated in from the whole playerbase, a fourth Dec 18 gift box gets unlocked for everyone that functions the way the old one did before they were split into 3 separate ones. (I don't think it would be too big of an issue to release a little more lists because with more supply, prices should also lower I think)
4. this one might not be possible but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE some kind of auto sorting feature that would automatically send my hoard pets into a designated folder for me cx
5. also not sure if this would be possible but there are people who can make REALLY nice pet scenes. I would love a feature that allows me to let other people dress up my pet with my items for me.
6. Separate wishlists for hoard pets and collection pets with different colored stars to differentiate.
7. Public sale marketplace to make trades people can offer on.
okay I think I'm all out of ideas for now but hopefully some of these might be appealing/doable or get other people thinkin to come up with more ideas! :) thanks for reading!

picking out this blurb specifically to respons to because i cannot agree more (also because im quite tiredn groggy n didnt understand the rest of the post well because of that..)
i remember getting blunt messages from the mods as far back as 2016, and at that point i was so young that i had to beg my mom to sign the premission slip that lets coppa members speak on the forums, and i even got one of these blunt responses before my mom signed that slip because of a pet i had named "this user is not allowed to trade me." was it against the rules? hell yeah, but once again, it came off as super blunt to me and i was still a coppa player, it was intimidating.
i just find it difficult to excuse stuff like this when clearly so many people have an issue with it and have been negatively effected by it (including myself)
I have a story that I can add here! Back when
this litter was first released I was so excited about one of the ponies growing up quick I threw it into my character thread at the time, since we were/possibly still are (?) allowed to use CS pets as characters, as it was stated in the rules and I've seen other people do it, and without any previous indication of trouble my non-native poor English kiddy self was slapped with a board warning which unapologetically remained despite my apologies even to BHA and broken English statements that I didn't know I was doing anything wrong, so... yeah, it's definitely not a new issue.
I'm leaving this plane. 🛸 It's time to take care of my adult life. Can't do that if I'm here.
I can be contacted on Discord @laconcorde until I change my username.

Re: the mod warnings, maybe an overhaul (if they are in fact pre-set responses) would be good, or if there was some way to better indicate tone. There just seem to be a lot of people in this thread commenting on mod hostility (which I haven’t experienced myself so don’t have anything to contribute) and so maybe there’s a solutions somewhere that could help avoid possible negative experiences and splitting everyone into an ‘us vs. them’ mindset.
Onto your mod warning overhaul: I believe a better breakdown on how the system works would be great to see if it's not too confidential. I'd like to see/get an explanation on how they train their staff. I'm just curious as to how they work their mod team as a whole.

I would also love a detailed explanation on how the CS staff is trained. I’m genuinely curious

I saw this mentioned in here before and I wanted to say something, about trading and pet values. The value of pets when it comes to trading is so complex and confusing at times. There are so many different ways users value pets when it comes to trading, especially those who have been on the sight longer. It makes it hard for newer users to trade due to there being no set this equals this or this equals that. Trading would be a bit easier to do if there were set values for things. It's hard for so many users to get their dream pets because values are so out of wack. I've been on this sight for around 10 years now and have come no where close to being able to get my dream pet, I can only imagine those who have been on the sight for 3 years struggling even more to get their dream pets. Users who hoard pets, not saying there's anything wrong with hoarding, but it does make it difficult for users to get certain pets. I've come to the point now as many others have said in this form only coming on here to get the monthly pets and come around during events. I'm happy to see that users are coming together and talking about how they feel about what's going on in the sight.
THIS. Trading would be
INFINITELY easier to understand if everything had a set value. I’ve been on CS for over 6 months now and I still don’t understand how trading works.

Yes I would love an updated wishlist system to wishlist pets as collection pets and/or as hoard pets
I think it would also be nice to update pet groups, specifically adding an option allowing other users to view a group but not offer on the the group or showcase only option, since let’s be honest, not matter how frustrated either side of the showcase vs no showcase gets, players are still going to have show case groups unlocked. So why not make it so the showcase groups can still exist but make it so the pets can not be offered on or won’t show up on the pets on my wish list group.

Even after all the years I've been here, trading is still confusing to me as well. I see some value 2 commons from any year being equal to an uncommon of any year, 2 ucommons of any year being equal to 1 rare of any year.... but then some bring the value up to the year of the pet. Now an uncommon from 2015 is worth 4 commons from 2016 and many other variations of value. With so many variations of what users think is right, there is no set right way : ( Someone will always end up being wrong

Before I start, I just want to say that none of this is meant to be hurtful or offensive in any way. I know that in the past, some of my comments on threads similar to this have been taken down/out of proportion, but there are some things that need to be addressed, if not for me, for everyone else on the site. c:
The site rules:
So, I have been around with this account since 2017, and had a different account from 2014-2016. I have been around for a hot minute (in and out from 2019 till now). Since I joined, the site rules have fluctuated, which is completely okay! But, I have noticed in certain discussions that have been allowed, it leans towards a certain demographic or viewpoint on events, etc. In my opinion, if a thread is labeled as "discussion", that is allowing grounds for people who disagree. That is, as long as you are not being purposefully offensive. I am going to be as vague as possible in order to get my point across so nobody is singled out, but there have been a few situations in the last few years where I happened to post on a discussion thread and got threats from other users... on the thread. I was given a warning, and as far as I know, that other user got a slap on the wrist. I think that is the difference, there is grounds to be offended by people who don't agree or believe in the same thing. People will lash out, and that is okay. That is why we have mods! c: But once mods have bias, which we all do, it is extremely off-putting when people can blatantly break site rules, but the person with the differing opinion gets punished. I understand that we are all human, but especially with mods, there needs to be some work on that front. This might have been a one-time thing, and if so, ignore this. I just thought I'd speak on it.
After that situation, I made a thread picking apart rules and explaining how it could be misconstrued, and how they could be worded better/changed to fit the ever-changing world of today. It was deleted in 3 minutes. That bothers me because, as a community, we need to be able to express our opinions (within reason), and that doesn't work when we have to remain silent if we don't agree. (I also put a lot of work into it so I was kind of sad c,:)
edit; I agree with the move to have reasons for being blocked/better explanation for things on the mod's front.
I don't know. Take from all that what you will.
Trading:
The only thing I have to say about this is that we need to come together as a community. I don't think the staff interaction has anything to do with collecting pets. I absolutely believe it comes from all of us. I am human as well, and admittedly, if your trade rules is as long as the great wall of China, I may glaze over it a bit. That is my fault, absolutely, but it is silly the amount of lash-back I get, even if a trade is fair. If I made a mistake, odds are, I will apologize and correct it immediately. There are a lot of users that have blocked me/blocked me from trading over some silly stuff. Some of them being after I edited an unfair trade on their end! But that's nor here nor there.
At the end of the day, we need to work harder on being better to each other and a better community. There is nothing the staff can do about how we treat each other on a day to day. c:
I will probably have more to say at some point but... those are the ones at the top of my brain c:
Thank you for reading!

These are all great ideas, although the 3rd point seems counter intuitive. What if not enough people donate? Will the money be gone? And beside that I think adding a pay wall to get an extra box on the 18th Dec kinda ruins the idea of it.
Number 1 also might be a bit far fetched since it puts a lot of work on moderators.
Other then that I love all these ideas, especially 5, that would be so cool!
