[300+ SUPPORT!] Make rereleases better/more rereleases

I agree with people for a re-release box around summer time. ^^ I don't think one or two extra box would curb a specific pet's rarity.

The trading community is… sparse? Failing?

I’ve taken many hiatuses during my CS career. I recently came back after nearly a year only to discover that trading has become nearly impossible. Lists pets largely remain in the hands of a few select individuals which has resulted in a significant decline in trading.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with that, either. Those players worked for the pets they obtained.

However, when the trading community becomes this desiccated - trading is simply impossible.

Rereleasing pets once a year is a privilege I’ll always be grateful for. It helps revitalize the trading community, and allows players to enter a higher rank of trading. However, within months, the market becomes dry again and users who lack lists, have to wait a year for the chance to obtain one.

^ You’re probably thinking, users shouldn’t bank on the possibility of obtaining a list pet in order to enter the trading market.

Which brings me back to the original issue. The trading system is *dry* as hell. Trading typically picks up around Christmas *because* of the 18th. The flush of new pets allows anyone to potentially trade for their dreamy. Afterwards, the dry spell begins once more.

As for what would be released, I think it should be identical to a typical rerelease. As for the “new” Special Releases, it would be the same pets from the previous year. If we hosted one this summer, it would be the UR Orange, Pastel instead of brand new URs.

I support this! I've missed so many re-releases on dec 18th and it would be really nice to have another one during summer

Also I think it would be a good idea to maybe make some totally random rereleases during normal monthly litters.. so your adopting the monthly litters and whoop surprise! An old rare appears! But of course this one would have to be very limited, so it doesn't happen for every player, just totally randomized. I think this would increase CS activity between events. What do you guys think about this idea? It literally just came to my mind.

It feels like except for Zebras at this point - monthly pets are a little cursed to be SO COMMON!
Just by nature of amount of players adopting.
But it would be so cool if once in such a rare while a little of dogs could be like "oops how did you get here, little timber wolf?"

I don’t think store pets should be rereleased in boxes because people paid for them, defeats the purpose

I think Store pets should stay in the store and not be rereleased. They don't contribute to a full collection and were never meant to be rereleased.

However, I think having a summer rerelease box is a wonderful idea because it would be like the advent calendar in the winter, thanks to there being a summer event.

I really like this idea!
Seeing the zebras pop out very, very rarely was always pretty cool. Doing the same thing with the oldest dog and other species' litters would be pretty cool too. Like imagine getting a BA or something in your regular monthly adopts.
Probably would need to happen for more users than the zebras to make a difference though.

I kind of like this better than another re-release day actually. It works for zebras and they still maintain their rare/very rare status. And there's only 3 zebras as opposed to more UR or OMGSR dogs. Doing it this way would still not hurt their rarity. Doing it this way would also prevent massive amounts of people showing up for just one day and disappear again the next.

the only worry i have with this is that newer players may not realise they have gotten a re-release that s of higher worth, there is enough confusion on dec 18 even with all the banners and announcements people make to try and get the message out. i think if something like this were to be put in place the pets should have a re-release tag (i think i saw this suggestions somewhere else for re-releases in general) a bit like the current c$ store or pps tags on the pets page linking to a little info post explaining.
