Any specific reason for not supporting? There's been plenty of reasons given why it should go, and so I'm honestly wondering what the reasons behind your opinion are.

It's not a way to disable it, just messages like it. And your inbox will still say 1 new message until you go to your inbox page and it will go away, which isn't really a big problem to deal with, but it still doesn't entirely "disable" them.
And yes, the message can be upsetting to some people.
Personally, I don't think it should be changed to something nicer either- just get rid of it. There is no point to it.
If CS send the message because it is "frowned upon" but not against the rules, why don't ninja-traders get annoying messages? What they do is "frowned upon" but not against the rules, and what they do is MUCH worse than trade away a pound pet, but they get by with it with NO consequences unless someone finds out they have been ninja-trading and spreads the word which tarnishes their reputation and they lose potential trade partners, which would be their fault (and I consider deserved). We get a guilt message for every single pound pet and they get no guilt for taking advantage of new players' lack of experience and knowledge (I hope they do feel guilty, what they are doing is wrong).
That doesn't seem right to me.
disclaimer: I'm not saying that there should be messages sent to ninja-traders, because what is and isn't considered ninja-trading varies nor can there be a system set up that a message is automatically sent to ninja-traders. I don't want ANY messages like this. At all. None. Zip. The point I'm trying to make is that the message itself is flawed and shouldn't be in the game period.
