WHY PEOPLE ARE QUITTING CS- A Discussion

One thing that would be a huge commitment, but could be AWESOME, MERCH! Hear me out…: plushies of the most well known list pets and items?? T-shirts with cs pets and stuff on them?? Plus, that could help fund the site, pay our hard-working mods and maybe even hire more people to help build the site :)? Just a thought I had!

They actually had stickers WAY back. Here's a picture of them

I know more re-releases was suggested, so I want to add to that. Maybe it could be a gift on the birthday that you selected when you join the site! You get a gift to open on that day (or month) that is a re-released pet. Perhaps it could have a wait period, too, so for example a user can't join or create multiple users and immediately get a re-released pet that month.

Adding on here! Maybe not tied to your birthday since you can change that, but what about your join date? You can't change that, plus it still acts as a birthday + rewards loyalty to the site every year!

Either way sounds great! Either make birthday unchangeable and have it on your birthday, or join date! (For me, that would be the same month :lol: )

i think itd be great if it were your join date. that way you HAVE to wait a year to get the gift and its fair for everyone imo. it sounds like a great idea!

Um I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this, and its a very small thing in comparison to some of the things being brought up in this thread but, it would be nice to be able to ping people in the forums.
The current system just relies on a person marking a thread and remembering to go back and check up on it later, which, is not good for adhd brain. And you also don't know when someone has replied to you, like in forum games. And I know on flight rising it's nice to be put on pinglists, especially for things like giveaways and art shop openings when you don't know when they will reopen in the future. It makes it a lot more easy to remain interested.

There’s so many good suggestions on this thread, and I’m so glad we’re compiling them! All I hope is that the mods, Tess and Nick listen to our suggestions and consider them! Maybe even hold a Q&A type style, where players can go back and forth with mods about ideas and suggestions? Even if discord servers, there is always this sense of hierarchy between mods and players.

i think an official cs discord would help the community connect a bunch! it would def be easier to make friends

While it isnt offical there is the csds!!! Its user run and im not part of it but i just thought id mention a non-offical widely known one exists!!!

i totally understand this, but i feel like some stuff should still be lightened up on. for example, a signature link to someone's toyhouse which has a link to their twitter where they mention their age is like, 24 or something really shouldn't be something that can get someone into trouble. if they are a minor, i completely would understand that, but i feel like adults should be allowed to share things like their ages off-site without it being moderated due to being linked a few links from CS, those are the type of things that i feel are kind of unnecessary at this point, as i personally cannot see how that makes things any safer for the vulnerable people who do play cs /gen

I like this idea! Maybe not as an actual notification or personal message even, but if you go into the specific forum it could show a message that says "USER replied to your comment" which you can then click on and see the reply, so you at least don't have to go searching.

I've wanted this for so long!! I think there's a lot of quality of life updates that would make this site better, and this would be a great start.

Oh. I KNOW! Lacuna has said they've pitched in the idea to the other mods. I wonder if there's any update on that?? CS would make BANK from me with the plushies.
