I support. I honestly have issues distinguishing the two at times, which is why I have to look at the trade for about a minute to make sure that a common isn't a very common, or vice versa. The color that somebody (I don't know who for sure) had showed may not seem like a big difference, but I could distinguish the two with hardly any problems.
And to those people who just say to "read the text," you can continue to read the text. But there are some people on this site who don't read the text, or for some reason can't enlarge it.
So, I give my support to this, if it hasn't been done yet.

Not really because I have to look twice sometimes, but more because I thought it odd from the beginning to have the VC-green. For the "rainbow theme" of the bars, a cyan colour makes more seems imo. XD

That is a really nice color choice since cyan isn't to bright but the order that the colors are in are driving me crazy, color is very important to me it is easier for me to read something that is in color than black and white (as long as it is Not neon) and the text is way to small for me to easily read (and I always have my screen zoomed in because of it)

All in all I don't think that this idea would hurt anyone as long as you keep in mind that color is VERY important to some(I often associate different colors with different things or feelings like when I see the two main shades of green here on Chicken Smoothie I feel happy because Chicken Smoothie makes me happy)

That is a great substitution!
I've supported this before but I want to say again that in large trades (50+ pets) it's near impossible to tell them apart without slowly going through the whole thing. Uncommons stick out. Rares stick out. Commons and VC - not even close.

To add - what's wrong with being lazy? Laziness is part of what got us the colored bars in the first place. It wasn't the only reason but it certainly was part of it. In the grand scheme of things we really haven't had them for that long. It used to be only text. You can pull up a map on your phone and have it track your route rather than sitting down and making a route on a paper map. Why is it so unreasonable to ask for simplification? Lol.

I support. I use my phone for cs but quite regularly the text doesn't appear beneath the rarity bar so I find I have trouble deciding on a trade due to being unsure or its value. When it comes to very common and common pets. I know all theother rarity ccolors and it makes it so very easy for me that way if one of the common/very common colorswere to change it would make it easier for me to trade fairly.

This substitution is a good one, but tbh I think the cyan is a bit to neon. Perhaps if it was toned down a bit, to just be vivid rather than neon (like the other colors), it would work better? idk

There's a whole swatch of colors in this post. Turquoise or periwinkle. Doesn't really matter what it is so long as it's not green.
