bumping now that we get item rereleases ^^ Since the front page says some items may have good trading value, it'd be really helpful if the site also updates to make the trading part less tedious, since you manually need to check where each item comes from right now

Mostly here for the year indicator part specifically but even something like this would be enough I think :)

This kind of labeling would be awesome! I think an indicator for store items would also be very helpful.

Mega support - sometimes I just cancel item trades because I can’t find the item in the archive and can’t even figure out what year it’s from to attempt a trade.

Edit to add the indicator that it is CURRENTLY available to buy in the store would also be super helpful. I’ve also tried to make offers on items that were literally still available and I didn’t know. Hard enough to memorize trading rarities let alone item release dates and where they were released from 😅

I am finally trying to get caught up on items and went to the suggestions page looking for this haha.

I am struggling so much with knowing what's fair. It feels like most CS users don't have a memorized internal list of items rarities and often people's requests for help don't get answered in the forums because of this (very very understandable) lack of collective knowledge.

Especially when some items look similar it can be hard to remember if I'm offering on something that's a recent common item or worth some 09 rare or something, haha. The order the items appear is helpful but only so much!

To go off of this - why do we have an item search bar in our inventory but NOT in the archives? I would give anything for that! Is there a suggestion thread or can we add it to this? The entire item system truly needs a big update. I like the category sort tab we just got, but it’s still very hard to find most items.

Hello, I am bumping this again with full support due to this suggestion. Can C$ store items be marked? Similar to store pets being marked. All that would really need to be added to the items is (C$) after the name of them.
