Mass deleting pets

support! its not just about deleting pets in general, its the same issue with sending them to the pound.

TLDR; I'm in support of both a mass-delete and a mass-trade option, or at the very least I'm in support of making a change to the pet deletion option to make it easier.

I think some of us support both but don't want to Christmas tree off this thread. AlbinoWolf made a thread for mass-trading here

I'd like to add, if we do add mass deletion, it should be a couple different clicks, one confirming you want to mass delete. I could totally see myself being clumsy and accidentally deleting pets lol

This too, it made me cackle! In the end, it's a digital pet on a kid's website, it's not doing any harm. One day, CS won't even be a thing anymore and none of this will matter lol.

How about instead of a mass delete feature, instead have a feature that can selection all the pets not wanted and immediately send them to the pound. That way the trade economy isn't affected and the pets can be sent away quickly.

It requires trading with the pound, I did make a suggestion related to mass selections in trading actually.

In regards to the pound message, there is a way to not get those messages.

You can set up a PM rule in order to automatically delete such messages. First, go here: Forum/ucp.php?i=pm&mode=options

Set up one of the following rules (you do not require both):

• If sender is [your username], delete message
  
• If subject begins with A message from your pet, delete message

In doing this, you will not see those PMs as they will automatically be deleted since they follow your chosen rule.

mm, partial support? i agree there should be a mass selection feature of some kind to donate pets because i find it very tedious to select each one individually (and if there is a mass selection feature for this that i just don't know about then please LMK!) but my immediate thought was that if someone got hacked, it'd be incredibly easy to ruin their account for good since trades can be reversed but deletion can't, to my knowledge :'(

I'm fairly certain if there's actual proof that an account was hacked staff would reverse the deletion - we know they're able to recreate pets with the original dates if needed (albeit only when the situation absolutely warrants it) c:

To be honest it's getting pretty old seeing people war over deleting or not deleting pets. There's ways to delete pets on literally every pet site ever and this is the ONLY one where people are making a fuss about it.
