adding to the BLM discussion: always remember that CS is supposed to be a kid's website, so anything political isn't really supposed to be discussed here. while I do understand the importance of the BLM movement, most users on CS are underage and probably don't even completely understand what it really means. not only that, but it's a very sensitive topic where words can quickly be misinterpreted, so it only makes sense to me that a reply didn't come right away. in all honesty, I would have understood if there was no response at all, since again, CS isn't really the place for political discussion. I am glad that they did pick it up, in the end, but I would not have been mad if they hadn't done so for the above reasons.

if the kids on this site, which are fewer in number than we suspect, had parents that didn't want them exposed to anything "sensitive" then I seriously doubt they'd have internet access or even a TV, since it's all over the news and just about every channel and website has said something about it. Also human rights, equality, and the freedom to live without fear isn't really politics? But this thread isn't about BLM, that discussion can be found here.

I kinda agree & huge support.

I've been on this site since 2010 & have noticed a lot of changes (some good, some bad) and I'm only there for pets & art only not for anything else, I find it great at first but it's coming to a point where it's starting to get kinda boring but I think a lot of changes will definitely need to happen (staff should be communicating more, more things to do, etc..) (to keep this site alive, start bring members back and getting new members joining) & I think selling CS off should be of last resort.

Hm, I remember thinking that the site is less active than I remember it being, but I never noticed this thread.
I was actually hoping the site willl change eventually, probably the way Flight Rising does. The main functions remain, but some new are added and they are overall better in what they do/how they look. Meanwhile on CS we only get new pets. It was a very good time when the new dress-up scenes were added, and a new pet lineart (macaw). I felt like this site needs more of these.
I remember there was a peak when everyone talked with everyone on here, almost like a fandom, it died pretty quickly though..

I agree. This kind of gameplay would ruin this website, in my opinion.

I can't recall anyone suggesting making cs into a "care for you pets"? and that's not what this thread is about either.

It's what the "gameplay" changes wishes suggest in one way or another. Most other pet sites are click-based and some even have pets dying if they aren't clicked enough.

I might be the only one on this, but I also wish there was a function in the archives for "pets you don't own." Scrolling throught all years and months to add all pets to my wishlist is killing me since there's so many. I also dislike that I get different animals that I searched for from the search function and it was never changed.

exactly. every game is different, there are different types of games for different people and types, personally i don’t want a care for your pets feature implemented, because then thousands of pets would be dead / (???) by older / inactive users.

There’s no way I would support this either. I have the freedom to hoard and have as many pets as I do because the core of the game is just collecting pets, not adding in feeding or clicking or anything like that. That’s why I never got into those other games where pets had to be taken care of.
This is also why I’m against selling the site in the event the person would completely change the core of what CS has meant to be, just collecting pets without obligation of anything else.
