CS Needs Another Archivist

Full Support. Especially during events when the new releases cannot be added to WLs right away, or even within the first few hours when people tend to seek the outcome.
Even with monthly releases, I feel like having at the very least 2 archivists cannot hurt.

Also side note, do the Archivists find out about pet releases/growths at the same time players do? Because if they possibly knew beforehand what was going to grow/be released it would make the process much faster. But I'm unsure of how things work behind the scenes!

From the sounds of it: Yes, they find out at the same time we do.
Simon made a post on my suggestion about having the archive automatically update at rollover and explained why it's not possible. You can read it here.
