I fully agree with this. It got so hard on so many sites to get good things because the currency is just so inflated. I mean guys, I saw somwone selling a Cerb for 15,000c$. Thats like half my rent in USD. Its beginning to get ridiculous.

omg 15,000?!?!?!? that's just dumb, I'm saving C$ atm for dreamies of mine but I'm so worried that trying to use C$ for a VR (plus a vr store pet from 2011) won't work,

That's the only thing I worry about, because I don't know how CS could deal with that. But I certainly agree that they should try something to fix this for sure and other than that suggestion I whole-heartedly agree!

i understand this, but the "gacha" wouldn't have to be one that falls under the traditional definition. for example, dappervolk gachas require virtual currency, not USD like traditional ones do, and because of that it has been doing fine.

Ironically Dappervolk is the one I'm talking about. They had a premium currency gacha one month and it immediately got taken down the following month because of potential legal issues. The regular gachas are fine because the currency for those is earned through playing, but a gacha using premium currency only that you have to buy is illegal in many countries
Getting ready to move, I won't have internet for a while when I do so I'm likely going to be inactive for a couple months, I won't know when I'll be moving so I'm very sorry for the inconvenience!
My timezone is EST and I tend to go to bed around 1-2 AM in that time
I tend to come back online around 2ish PM
Also, trades with guinea pigs and either species of hamsters are always appreciated, I'm going for a full collection of those so if it's on my wishlist I want it :3

agreed. demand and inflation are getting out of hand. staff really needs to do something about this, i feel genuinely awful for newer players. i only joined about 9 months ago and its like watching the world crumble. in only a couple months i have watched inflation and demand have taken a deep dive for the worse, everything going so high. its awful. i struggle to play anymore because my anxiety with trades has gotten so bad. i gave up on trading c$ because worth is so scrambled, and demand plays a huge role. the only solid part of the site anymore is oekaki which is where i usually pay for art because trading for pets? WAY too difficult anymore. its so hard to find anyone who trades fairly nowadays.

Exactly. I can't remember the last time I paid fairly for an older pet. Demand plays such a huge role in trading that any new player is going to have a difficult time getting anywhere except the random chance that's December 18th. Even as a player that started a few years ago I have a difficult time even aiming for rarer pets. I have one or two that I try to trade for per year, otherwise I wait for re-releases.

oh, i see! i wonder if there's a way to work around that, i'm not well-versed in the legalities of gachas but i'm sure someone on cs staff is and might be able to shed some light on possible complications or solutions

I wonder if it would be possible to do something Like FR did? You can earn gems by selling in the auction house, but you can earn treasure by fighting and playing games.

CS could implement the game system by saying "play this game, if you win, you can earn 1-3 C$!"

It would easily make inflation go down because now C$ is attainable! But they can also limit it to only being able to play a few times a day, so its still heavily suggested to buy it, but a lot easier for underage players and people who can't purchase. It would definitely make things easier/better

support! One of the reasons I'm half-leaving the site for the third/fourth time haha. Goatlings and FR have more stable economies with fundraisers and such for mods and events, thus, the economy stays even typically <3
