Major support. As a player who's played on and off since 2010, the lack of any major organization tool updates after all this time has been kinda disappointing and makes the game harder to play actively.
I was looking for a thread with a suggestion like this because I think it would be both the easiest to implement and solve a couple of major problems people have when trying to organize their collection.
I believe it would be easier to implement as a similar system already exists for trading. It is very easy to see wishlist pets in your trading partner's groups, even if they have multiples of the same pets within different groups. Sometimes I even include "you have 3 of these" or something in my trade message because I know it's easier for me to see that than it is my partner because everything but my wishlist pets has been filtered out. If you could single out a single pet in your collection via the archive, that would make things way easier.
The problems it solves is a. How many of the pets do you have? and b. Where is the pet?
Players being able to see how many of a pet they have makes it easier to decide what they want to keep and what they want to trade. Players being able to locate pets makes deciding how to organize them and moving them easier.
I'm coming back after a couple year long hiatus, and I want to start sending out trades and collecting newer pets that I missed, and give newer players a chance at some older pets that they missed, but I'm so reluctant to actually start trading because my groups are a mess and I don't know what I have and how much I have and I don't really have the time to work it out with the current barebones organization features CS currently offers.
