I would also love this so that I could add pretty pets I see while looking around to my wishlist more easily, rather than having to search through the archives for them to find the "add to wishlist" button.

I also second this. I like to swap rereleases for truedates if I can help it (my truedates for their rerelease) but if the pet isn't named for year/month, it takes a long time to find it in the archives to see if I even own it. It can take a long time if it's a recent rerelease, since there are coming onto 13 years to look through.
If it would be too difficult for all pets, maybe just on re-releases? Like how the PPS pets have "PPS This pet has "PPS". What's that?" on their page, for rereleases put "This pet is a re-release, see it in the archive here".

I support this! I donโt do a ton of trading, but Iโd really like this feature because of how long it can take/difficult it can be to go through pages of the archive wondering โis this an event pet, or did I just adopt it around that time?โ while trying to reorganize pets. Itโs one of the reasons itโs taking me months to finish a reorganization that I started midsummer :โ(

support on this, i have always been struggling to find pets in the archive.
this would also reduce/eliminate dec 18 spam, users can click to see what month their pets are from + possible outcomes.
same idea with reducing ninja trading, users are able to see that their pets are rare or even UR
