We do not allow smooth bodied or partially hairless humanoid furries/anthros that are naked or partially naked (exposing crotch or breasts). Covering characters with clothes or ruffs of fur is fine, but pink bellies usually indicate that there is little to no fur in an area, so bare skin of private areas that would not be allowed to be shown on humans in public or to children is visible. Anthro characters share most body structure similarities with humans since they are bipedal, so they are treated more like art of humans.

Ok ... I assumed that pink fur is maybe some indicator for adult stuff, like a special symbol used by communities I'm not into. It wasn't my main thought it would simply indicate nakedness. Thanks for explaining.

To clarify, if a furry etc has no clothes on, is it not allowed even if the private areas are covered with fur? If so, drawing a human with exposed belly (example) is also not allowed? Or is it just furries and other associated humanoid animals?

As anthros are not exactly like humans, it is possible to have an anthro on CS with no clothes on (especially as a reference image) as there can be a decent covering of fur over the crotch that, if something similar was worn by a human, would constitute clothing. The issues we've had with pink bellies extended into uncovered crotch areas. The rules (which are being integrated) are currently here: Forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=259622 . You can draw a human in a crop top or bathing suit with no issues.

i was mega stressing for the summer event but its... nowhere to be found and its now june 22 cs time... i know its been late in the month like this before, but with this thread and all the talk going on something about this feels eerie... :( sorry to detract from the main subject btw, i just felt this could go here because it involves the state of cs as a whole rn

theyve already said theyre working full force on this event right now doe, i dont doubt itll start within a week. people panic about it almost every year, but every year it happens

No need to worry, there will still be a Summer event! If it helps any, the starting dates for the past Summer Events were as follows:
2011: July 18
2012: July 14
2013: July 23
2014: July 25
2015: July 25
2016: July 15
2017: July 22
2018: July 21

It's not uncommon for the event to start later than the 22nd. ^^

Usually the event starts on a friday as well so it's safe to assume we'll be getting it around then. Man, I remember the 2016 event. I was so happy it had started so much earlier than usual haha.
