Address the pound lag + C$ sales transparency

CS artists are volunteers, so the amount of pets they create has no effect on any back-end development that Nick is doing.

I figured as much, same with mods and general staff. Since all the stuff that generates them income is volunteer made, it adds more curiosity as to why updates are so slow for site care

support, would like to know what to expect and when, but also the lag is awful. its not just the lag getting into the pound, but also the 30 or so seconds of loading before it tells you the pet you've clicked on has been adopted by someone else.

i have thought about where the money goes from c$ sales as well. they do create and update shop items/pets, so i'm guessing people are still putting money in 100%, plus being able to just buy pets with c$ (ik that's expensive, but i would not be surprised if people do this!).

if a majority of artists aren't paid/volunteers, which i assume would actually cost the most in terms of site costs, where is the money going? i've been thinking this for awhile especially when i made my suggestion ABOUT suggestions. some of these HUGELY supported site ideas have literally been sitting 10 years. i know life can get in the way, people get busy, have other relationships, etc. but if you're going to produce a product in the store that encourages putting money into the site, i expect the site to be upkept and updated with at least something. i however would not know about cs domain costs. i still think there is no excuse.

honestly i would somewhat encourage people not to put money into the site. as a consumer and ESPECIALLY with the economy i live in now, i am not satisfied with cs's products so i'm not putting money in. when i want to spend money on something, especially with websites like these, i look for more than simple product. i want my money to also be spent in a way that shows improvement for the overall business as many of the players on here have been around for YEARS.

why not bring back the stickers and other little gizmos and gadets that came out when cs was WAY new? the actual irl merch? would be so cool and i'm sure would be a hit.

long read, but i think this is VERY important topic that a business communicate with their consumers, something cs does not do well.

i support this suggestion, please give us more clarity that people have been asking for!

when I first Joined in 2014, I swear Store Pets were $15. When I came back in 2018 they were $20. now they're $30? Anyone remember any time the Store Pet currency was lower? Why they spiking prices? without giving us more when we PAY IRL money for CS$ currency? That's not how economy works.

You're right that stores used to cost less C$ - however, the increased prices are actually to combat the excessive amounts of C$ in the economy! Whether it works is a different discussion (link to the thread discussing it if you want to have a glance) but it's not, just, like... a decision made out of greed or anything like that.

Tonight's pound opening had a site-wide glitch occurred;

Apparently, last opening's pound page was actually SEEN during the first page. Posts discussing about it starts here. (It occurred to me as well, I saw last night's opening on my page; and immediately recognized it)

About 1000~ users was online during the opening (By the time I post this)
