I like this idea a lot, especially since it can branch out into other media! I think it’d be cool to give out small entry prizes(randomized old uncommon/recent rare maybe?) as well so everyone walks away with something for their effort. As for branching out, I’d love a traditional media one like the cake contest, except you can use any irl material. The amount of creativity would be crazy. I know that’s a lot further down the line if it even ever happens, but I can dream lmao.

I like the idea, but there will always be people who cant write englisch too well, or people who have a big writers block and can only think of 3 sentenses. Same with art; there will be many people who.cant draw, when opening oekaki competitions.
Competitions can never be fair, i know. There will always be people who cant do something. But if you laungh one contest, try to laungh more so overone has a chance to enter.
One more concers: does staff have time to read so many possible entries?
Dont get me wrong, i like the idea! But there are many people who cant think of 500-1000 words. That is very long. Why not just set a max?

I've been in a bit of a writing slump lately so would love something like this to help me stretch my fingers again, I'm guessing this would be short stories? What kind of word limit are you thinking of imposing? Because I can write 5-10k fairly easily but wouldn't want to overdo it either ^_^"

As an adult with a full time job, I am not particularly interested in competitions, my time is pretty limited these days. I am especially not interested in writing competitions as I have zero interest in writing.
