After having read the FAQ I still didn't find an answer to my question. I'm sorry if it doesn't go here.

After putting items on a pet how long before they show up on the pet?

Sometimes when I put items on a pet,they do not show up, at all. Are some types of pets just not able to have items put on them?

It takes some time for your computer to reload the image, computers are lazy like that and try to avoid loading images^^. It can take pretty long time, I'm not sure how long exactly. To force it to reload press Ctrl+F5 to hard refresh.

All items should show up on all pets, I'm sure there are no pet specific items (but some items are obviously made to fit some kind of pet in particular).

If it's on the oekaki, ask them to add your name so you can colour it the image. Hit ColorMeIn, add a new layer in some kind of funky colour and make little corrections in red or some other funky colour.
If it's not on the oekaki, copy their image and paste it in your own art program (or save it and open it with yout art program), then you make your corrections, save and upload the image (try http://www.tinypic.com). Give the image code to your friend so they can have a look.

I think you should put up how to make an image transparent. I keep seeing it more and more around this forum.
