The pound is a nightmare ball of anxiety and stress for me omg. I get so stressed when I don't have a wishlist pet on the first page because I know in that 15 seconds of waiting about 100 pets will disappear. Then after a refresh if there's still no wishlist, I'll end up having to grab a non wishlist recently released pet because within a minute everything is basically gone.

Another thing is if I adopt a pet and someone else gets it that fraction of a millisecond before me, then the site sometimes takes a while to load so I don't know if I got it and then I have to wait and miss out on other pets.

The list trading is such a mess like, I don't get the values at all and even for an older player like me.. like it gets confusing sometimes...

I like to take breaks from this site but I always enjoy coming back to do art.

The only thing that I liked that they changed is the art area like, there use to be beginers, something in between and than Intermediate and it was just of separting, just didnt feel good for the art community on here just felt very not togetherish if that make sense I really like how they did humans, anthros and so on just feels better in my opinion like we're actully a community of artist despite skill levels because everyone's different.

same!!! how was tiny child me supposed to keep track of the list? and even now, its even MORE ridiculous. 10k 09 rares for.... an omgsr? like naaaaah. trading has gotten RIDICULOUS since 2013.
maybe its also just a personal thing but i dont know what the heck a non or ma or whatever is. ive also got a lot of crap for not following the list ("are you stupid?" "just follow it lol" "the list exists for a reason..." have been a few examples of users "replying" when i trade them for their "list" pet.)

im actually very surprised that despite being a new player i really find myself agreeing with a lot of the sentiments on this thread! personally for me, a really big issue i find with the site (that ultimately makes me not wanna stay active on here) is the limitations for socialising. i love the forum games! im really enjoying all the little “chats” with ppl in the event forums! but ultimately, compared to a lot of other sites, cs really feels lacking in terms of community interaction on a proper scale. i was so surprised when i found out there was not a single place for casual chat!! not even a discord! and as other people have mentioned earlier, friends and other connections seem to be the easiest/one of the only ways for people to gain larger value pets, and as a result of that, as a newer player im often left feeling a tad hopeless about ever really getting close to any higher value pets!. if some sort of live chat or seperate chat forum or even a discord was implemented, that would imo really help with 1) keeping more players active on the site 2) gaining stronger senses of community which will hopefully negate some players mean attitudes that others have talked about here, and 3) help even the playing field for us new and less fortunate traders

They said they wouldn't do this because it would be too difficult to moderate, which is fair, but also kind sucks

I feel like I should share my experience on this game, as an on again off again player since 2014. when I joined this game it was far easier to get just about any pet than it is now. I joined during a summer event, and within a month or two I already had plenty of rares from the previous year and was working on getting some even older rares. Nowadays I only log on for summer events, halloween and Christmas, and I find it almost impossible to trade for anything outside of event swaps. people just don't want to trade their pets. even if they are in doubles groups (which I usually only trade with people who have these groups because of bad experiences in the past) people are just unwilling to part with their doubles. I understand that to a point, as i am sometimes the same way with favoring a pet's design and wanting to hold on to even the doubles of it, but I can't imagine how intimidating it is for new players to even get pets from the previous months, much less older years. even though I've been on this site for a long time, I have only had my hands on very precious few of the former list pets. I had a hard time understanding that system back in the day, but what was more frustrating was every time I thought I had it grasped, it seemed to change. I have long since given up my dream of getting the raven dog, or any of the other high demand rare pets because I know at this point that unless I get extremely lucky on Dec 18th (note; I have gotten lucky on Dec 18th before, I have 2 URs, but never enough for a high demand pet) I will simply never get those pets. I feel like this is, unfortunately, a problem that is so deeply ingrained in the trading system it is going to be nigh impossible to fix since it has been compounding upon itself continuously for years. more re-release chances would certainly help level the playing field though, it would be a small band-aid on a gaping wound however.

As someone who's been with this site since 2016, and the things I've seen through the years really stacked up. If this post seems like I'm being rude; that's not the intention! I'm worried about the current state of this site and how simple solutions are being passed up.

Normally, I do not post things like this but at this point we need to talk about this without being shut down by the mods. All communities THRIVE on positive and negative feedback. If we cannot share our negative feedback, how will this site improve? Now, when I say negative feedback; I mean constructive. Not flat out hatred. Reading through this thread has a LOT of constructive feedback! That's exactly what I love to see. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's observed this.

Throughout my time here, I've sadly noticed these...

Not caring Ninja trade scams. Granted, it's hard to pinpoint if a trade is a scam or a genuine trade of not knowing values; but if a user is CLEARLY ripping off people constantly and has evidence to prove it (Different trades from the same user being shown, forum posts showing they know their values) something should be done. Instead, it's brushed off. The solution is there, but no attempts in honestly trying to curb this issue. Moderation against ninja trades is possible by doing case-by-case basis and investigations. Granted, it requires more staff but it's possible by opening more staff applications.

Trading scene and it's demand pushing: The trading scene has changed SO many times, from the list being abandoned to demand skyrocketing. Greed is a main issue when it comes to trading. If someone willingly overpays for a pet, it becomes a new value and is treated like a bible. Anything lower? Nope, you're a scammer for offering it's actual base rarity worth! And good lord... the demand pushing. Watching the dragoncat be pushed was the worst, and I can't imagine new players who are joining actually thinking the Dragoncat PPS is worth a non.... but in reality, it doesn't even come CLOSE to that worth. To me, demand pushing is a HUGE scam and is why the economy is getting worse at the moment.

It's unfortunate we have to make a thread like this again to beg for staff and admins to be more transparent.

I've noticed one thing, it's literally so hard to get monthly adopts for many players and so many times wishlists are full of just the past years pets which I understand you snooze you lose but it adds up super quickly, I don't personally know of anything that could ease the trouble except maybe more adopts overall to give more chances, but one thing I always like to do is giving people my extra older monthlies that have built up over even just 6 months, but I wish I had more I could give in the end.

agree, even though there is a discord (not an official one), thats active, chatrooms (specifically live) would be amazing. generally speaking, i have a very small amount of friends on here, and i feel like there is scarcely any places to make friends.

the limitation of interaction is disheartening, i really do wish there was a forum for live chatting or just a chat room for everything all in one forum.
