WHY PEOPLE ARE QUITTING CS- A Discussion

I plan on quitting soon. Way too hard to trade, for every one successful I have about five cancelled. I can't get anything anymore. Even my post has been going empty. It's the biggest part of the game for me and I've basically lost that. So I'm giving up and giving in but don't plan to give away any of my pets. No one wants to try and trade, then no one wants them imo.

Trading takes time, so I wouldn't give up on it just yet. It can be difficult and discouraging, but if I would've given up years ago then I wouldn't be where I am now. I do suggest taking a break if it stresses you out!
When/if you come back and the new rarity system is in place, there are plenty of users [including me] who are more than willing to help when they can :)
I for one am anticipating the rarity update and it's making me reconsider giving up on the pet/trading side of CS.
It just takes the right trading partners. I have so many cancelled trades, but if you think about it, you only have to have 1 accepted trade to put you on the right track to get more & better pets.

Just popping in to say thanks Nick and the whole team for opening up a discussion on adding more pet rarities. (: I personally believe it would be helpful, not only for individuals trading but also for overall site transparency so thank you!

Most of the accepted trades in overpaying in, and were sent to me. Almost every trade I send is cancelled with no explanation. I've been playing since 2013 and watching the trading system get harder and harder. I'll stick around for the new rarities but if nothing changes, I'm out.

We want to thank everyone for the great suggestions and discussion that has taken place here. I can assure you that the admin team is reviewing everything that has been suggested. We hear you, and a lot of the concerns are valid. Steps are being made towards more site/updates changes.

We will be working towards releasing more updates and improving communication moving forward. Our first step is updating our rarity system! Please join in on the discussion here about this specific topic.

This thread has been getting off topic recently and it's very hard for staff to navigate to pull info/suggestions. We recommend creating individual suggestion threads (or supporting existing suggestion threads) to make your specific suggestions more visible.
