suggested improvements/updates have been piling up for years with seemingly no real response.
with the amount of C$ that is still being purchased by players, one would hope that the community would matter a little more
but hey, if you can do the bare minimum to keep an adoptable site running and still live a comfortable life then why change it i guess...
i appreciate all the work the staff do, but we need more feedback from the people who can actually make some changes happen.
at least we got a response from nick, which is a nice start. but it shouldn't end here.
I would certainly agree with this. Tbh, I have posted on many suggestion threads, voiced my support for them, and prayed that we might get a response. It’s just sad to see all these potentially positive, game-changing(literally) things being overlooked.
The biggest problem, to me at least, is that there are so many ways that CS could easily jump right back, and these are not being explored as far as we know. Listening to suggestions is one, communication with users and staff is another. freshening up more outdated features, brainstorming and creating easier ways we as players can sort, trade, and update our wishlists is a good one too. But most importantly, creating ways the community can feel connected to the staff and the owners.
Also, slightly shifting gears here, There are so many ways that CS can use its platform to make a serious difference in real world issues. For example, the BLM movement, whether everybody agrees with it or not, is a huge issue that many people feel extremely passionate about. Of all those passionate people, many, if not most, would love to see ways that sites and communities can support these causes they care so much about.
For example, if CS were to release a pet for sale in the C$ store, with some or all the proceeds going to charities that support real issues, that would not only bring something new to the table and create interest in the game, but also it would be a great way that the CS users as part of a huge community can pitch in to help a good cause.
This is all just my opinion, though.
