Site Suggestion: No Trade Button

Yall are able to wishlist every single rare pet in archives which takes me like 2 hours, so is it really a problem to just, lock every single group?

the point is.. so that you dont have to do that and its not that big of an inconvenience, i, myself sometimes forget to lock groups..

Well... it's not really anybody else's fault if you forget to lock your groups
not tryna be rude or mean, apologies if i come off that way, i'm just saying that something that can be easily solved by the users themselves doesnt require a site change if its really that simple

Yea locking everything is nice. However removing the button all together just saves everyone a step.

There's no cons. We have the button to not let people send us PMs. Why not have one where people cant send you trades?

I see no cons to this, and for people who would utilize it, I think it'd be a fine addition to have.

another use of this can be to use it as a very simple way of activating a "holiday mode" like on independent selling sites, so that people know if you're unable to respond for a set period, and it being a quick toggle really helps for that. it can also prevent people from sending unsolicited gifts if you are not wanting to accept those either, for whatever reason, as well as unsolicited suggestions

Easier to not have a trade button in the profile/forums (and immediately see that this person does not want to receive trade) than click on someone's profile and then realise they don't have any open group.

It's also a small QOL, I think it could be easily implemented for everyone since its already the case for some of the staff, and do not have undesirable side effects for those who don't want to use this option.

Good point!! Unsolicited suggestions could be pretty annoying if youre not interested in trading.

Sorry for reposting on this, but something came to mind.

I feel like a small thing that could be a hiccup is if the person with the trade locked sent someone else a trade. How would that person edit the trade? maybe if you have your trades locked, you cant trade others.

most likely have the ability to either: put trades on hold until they turn them back on, cancel all pending trades, OR they cant send out trades while theirs is locked
