I agree, blocking should be a last resort and it isn't treated that way, if that makes sense?

I definitely support this! a change to the blocking system needs to come into effect- it feels rather half hearted at the moment, only doing part of the job.

I strongly support this. The block button doesn't do much other than stop people from trading you or stop them from PM'ing you.
I think it would be nice to have an option to disable/enable blocked users from viewing their profile like how you can disable/enable blocked users from sending you PM's.

I support all the way, but like many have said before, having it be optional is a great idea! Many new users may be blocked for doing some little thing wrong (yes, people block that easily) and they have no idea why they're blocked. Being able to PM users and explain why they're blocked is a great way to clear up the confusion. Plus, as said before, forum games dealing with avatars are limited on mobile with this on. You won't be able to see their avatar ^^"
There's no harm in letting people see pets, maybe erasing the "Send a Trade for this Pet..." button or showing like "You are blocked and not able to trade with *person's username*." then "Back" button?
