my trades thread got auto-deleted the other day because i was deleting posts to make it just a one post kinda thread. it had so much coding and effort put into it along with my collection progress :'<

Support. Had an adoption center thread a while back, and I completely forgot about it while it was closed while I restocked my adoption group. I had all sorts of stuff on it, put a lot of effort into making it look nice, and it ended up deleted.

While it's fine to delete threads that haven't been in use, I would have at least liked to have had the chance to save my format before it was completely destroyed.

I would like this. One time I forgot about my trade thread and adoption center threads and they were deleted. I spent a while searching for them and I was really worried when I created a new one because I was afraid that it was still there and I was just missing it or something.

If your trade thread topic still existed, you wouldn't be able to make another. The way to check would be simply to try and create a new topic, and if it blocks you from doing so, your thread still exists.
