Suggestion: Pings avaliable on CS? 400+ SUPPORT!

At most, the mods can only say whether they've raised this suggestion to Nick and whether it's on his to-do list or not.

edit: seems like a prerequisite for having pings is having notifications, but I can't find via searching if notifications is an extension or a phpBB thing... A private phpBB board that my friends set up a few years ago that we all run together (so we all have access to the Admin Control Panel) and is currently on phpBB version 3.2.7 has notifications, but I don't see a Notifications extension in our list of extensions, nor do I see any settings for notifications elsewhere in the ACP... I have no idea what even sends a notification......

But since it's not in our list of extensions, I guess it's a phpBB thing?

I have this function on my own personal forum where my friends do a type of D&D roleplay, it's a nice feature to have and is something I think most newer forums (even free make it yourself ones) have implemented right out of the gate.
So, support for this! :D

Replies in big group spaces like closed species are super easy to miss and often lead to a lot of frustration, miscommunication, and just general shenanigans. Having a ping or even basic notification system would be an absolute blessing and help most people keep up with their conversations much easier, especiallyfor those that use the "my posts" page over bookmarks.
