[Implemented] An option to disable messages "from your pet"

that is insane!!! the pound message is by far the weirdest and most unnecessary feature on the site and it should have been removed 10 years ago when this thread was made. it’s an online game that’s supposed to be fun, why bring any type of negativity into it?

Support. That message feels really outdated and it's almost psychological abuse, especially towards younger users who may not understand that this is a site function and not actually something they need to pay attention to.

I have set it so that the pm gets automaticly deleted, but it is annoying.

Once a pet is on my account, i can do as i please. They cant expect me not to trade it, and this pm is badicly guilt tripping when you trade it.
And lets face it, we all want wl pets or rares to have as trade fodder to trade for pets we want even more.
Yes, get rid of the pound pet message, since it is guilt tripping. And dont the rules say: no guilt tripping people?

I completely forgot that the code of conduct does say word for word:

You may not intentionally make someone feel bad about their choices or actions, such as how much they are selling something for.

I believe the message from the pound pets is a clear violation of the sites own rules!
I think the pet message also would fall under the trolling code of conduct since it would be "posting to shock others."

I also think this feature should be removed.
In chicken smoothie, we don't feed/care for our pets unlike most pets sites.
We have so many pets each it would be impossible.
Trading is a massive part of the game and the idea is to trade your pets.
So this message doesn't even really have a place in the game considering we don't interact with our pets.
Getting a guilt tripping message is honestly sort of odd for the nature of how cs pets work.
And it's kind of spammy and cruel to sensitive younger users.

all of the above! i have pms disabled in general, because they give me massive anxiety, and the pound gets to bypass it and give me a mini panic attack every time it jumpscares me with a "Message (1 New)" thinking an admin has sent me a warning or something.

it's unnecessary and honestly frankly astounding it still hasn't been removed, or at least a toggle implemented that doesn't involve what feels like shady workarounds that even I, a user that's been here on the forums since 2008, didn't know existed.

!!!!!!!! Me now wondering if I can report these messages for violating the rules 😂

So weird though why does it still exist?? I cannot stand it, and then my messages get locked up because they fill with so many of these and then I miss actually PMs!

Also, I get it for pets I adopted YEARS ago, which is so weird! Of course I forgot it came from the pound, also, what if people change their mind anyway about wanting it???
