Re: Sell Chicken Smoothie

note;; this post may seem heated or angry, but it's not. it's sarcasm and truth. don't be upset, however feel free to give opinions.
note 2;; i am a person that agrees with every point of the thread, as well as the fact that in my opinion, mods/admins are not doing what they should be *or* simply don't care, as well as punishing people for the absolute wrong reasons. if you don't agree, no need to fight.

sorry/not sorry to say, i agree with far to much of this thread. more so with the fact that mods/admins really,, don't seem to be there. yet when they are, it is the *dumbest* reason why.

i've had personal experience with this.
first, my profile picture was "too gorey" (it was fake and literally an album cover) and i was forced to change it.
secondly, i received *another* message about my th link being in my signature now, my th may have tiny bits of gore here and there, but for god's sake, acting like it is the end of the world and forcing me to either remove my characters or remove the link is absolutely atrocious. for a mod to tell me to remove the characters from a site that isn't even theirs is despicable, and absolutely stupid. (and if they see this, you know who you are, and idrc if we have beef. you did a terrible job imo- you avoided all my questions and gave me horrible responses and answers with absolutely no meaning or reasoning behind them whenever you *did* answer something.)

to see nick *only* post about one specific spot is honestly pretty ridiculous. if you want to post on something, read the entire post and address it all, not just one thing you have a problem with. if not, keep your little fingers from typing, please, and keep an opinion to yourself. if anything, to me it feels like nick's response hits as trying to defend himself and other mods/admins, and that is *all*.

but on another note, if anyone wants to see this site go *anywhere*, it won't be with tess or nick anymore. and while that's my opinion, i'd like to think it's pretty honest. especially if no one ever shows up anymore and it's simple "update" after update. the site is dying, and no one is doing anything about it. yes, i get you need your own time and you have your own lives, but if you can't fulfill something you're expected to do or take care of, you should not be in a place to be someone who is supposed to help. let alone if you can't even read an entire post.

is this low blows? kind of. but the truth hurts. watch me get banned for "bullying" when it's simple sarcasm, frustration, and being fed up of things.

but i will say this. nick, if you're so concerned on mods/admins not having time to do this or that, or being unable to see every post, *surely* they can see every report if they're supposed to take care of them. how come my recent reports have gone for days?
how about how come my report for something that i apparently broke a rule for (my th) is going unhandled due to it being for something worse than what mine was? there's so much none of you do, it's ridiculous, yet you sit here and read one small section of the post and then defend all the mods/admins who either aren't doing their job, or simply don't care.

you should either sell cs, or hire people who actually care or have time. simple.

again, low blows, as it might seem to you guys. but it's the truth. but i guess if i get reported/messaged by a mod who doesn't agree and thinks it's punishable, you'll see how downhill this site has really gone.

and that, nick, is the truth to the simple part you posted. i could speak on so much more, but if you're going to post only about one section, then i will too (which, yes, that one section IS an issue, whether you defend it or not.)

thank you.

I understand.
Everyone is frustrated, generally with Nick's response and how the site has been handled since 2013 and on.
I believe nick could have worded his response to include his answer on our opinions with the topic of this thread, but that doesn't mean we get to lash out at him. He is a human too, he makes mistakes.
That does not mean that what he did was right, though. He could have definitely answered some questions instead of only responding to something we figured out already, but now, we should just calm down and continue adding suggestions as ways we can improve chicken smoothie.

Nick wrote:I'm sorry I didn't respond to all of the concerns in this topic in that one comment, but I just felt that I had to address the statements that there isn't enough/any moderation, when we have a hardworking team of mods who are here every day. This is a big community to manage and I understand we don't always manage to moderate every post.

We're deep in the preparations for our Summer event. Sorry, I don't have any big new site features in the pipeline to announce at the moment, but I'm still committed to improving CS. I will be implementing more of the user suggested features, that have unfortunately built up a bit.

Nick, thank you for correcting yourself and thank you for your work with chicken smoothie. I am sure I stand with some others when I say that this was polite. However, if you have the time, please give us your opinion on the matter. Some other staff members have rose up to give their opinions, so as a higher-up staff member, we as a community would appreciate yours too.

Thank you.

Since always. It's a long standing issue.
The rise of the CS community on other platforms like tumblr and discord however I believe worsened it..

Guess I’m not active enough to see it

While I'm glad that you've taken the time to respond omce more, and have recognized that the Site Suggestion Forum is collecting dust, there are still several issues at large.

The fact of the matter is, had we not created this thread and expressed out deep unhappiness concerning CS, nothing would have changed. And while I appreciate that you intend on implementing more suggestions, this feels like an act to appease us.

Will things change? Will the admins become more communicative? What's going to happen?

Thank you for your second response, Nick. Its good to know you have looked at the user suggestions, but perhaps a small announcement every now or then like "We are working on some new features, thanks for the suggestions", or even a reply on some of the larger user suggestions to let us know you've seen them and are thinking about them.

Thank you, for clearing things up Nick. I totally agree with this btw.

(Also this is a pretty busy time for CS as it is right before an event as Nick mentioned.)

yes, exactly!! ^ please don't duck all the questions, this is a conversation that HAS to be had. i'm begging nick and tess to be open and honest about not having the time anymore to run a growing and functioning website.

i was here as a kid, then again in middle school, and i can see the stark difference in the amount of activity from nick and tess as well as users in general. we need active and involved owners.

valid questions here. i hope that not only will the admins become more communicative, but the mods will, too. and that includes among the staff team, because i have seen or been a part of far too many instances where staff members contradict one another and it becomes frustrating for me (and, i imagine, other users) to understand the "true rules" of the site.

i truly hope we see a full statement on the concerns in the OP! and a solution that will be worked towards along with it. obviously that's not something that anyone can just come up with out of the blue- i understand a site like this and the decisions that go into it require a good amount of time and effort. i just hope that we get the statement and solution at all.
