It's true, the active userbase is actually quite small. There's 603 users online right now. I feel that there's a lot less than in previous years, and I feel like an issue this big with ninja trades/scamming is driving new users away. I really don't want the CS userbase to get smaller and smaller.
I have several friends who have been scammed out of their pets because they were either new or returning from a break, and all staff said was that they "should've known". There definitely needs to be a change in this regard.
This is why I don't understand staff's reluctance to fix the trading system. CS is definitely shrinking and between the inflated C$ and trading being a mine field it's not hard to see why. If trading is one the biggest parts of the game it should be fun and fair and fairly easy. In this climate for me it doesn't feel like any of those things.

Don't be sorry Nicole, literally, this thread was made because we asked for a voice and you were it, so thank you. It's not your's or any of our job as contributors to the thread to link every piece of suggestion in the thread. People who want to post and see what's been said should take their own liberty to read through and gage a CONSTRUCTIVE opinion.

If scamming is to be reduced, it MUST start with trading and creating a trading system that everyone can understand and adhere to. Something safe, fair and easy. Something that wasn't created because of demand and a users ideas of what something is worth.
Soxkie wrote:I agree. I know it's already been addressed but I really think CS would benefit from a exact rarity list. I doubt that will happen though because that isn't something easily done and only Tess/Nick could decide that.

Exactly! There is so much demand for a database of fair trades and animal worth. This is a trading site and even I'm too scared to trade because I don't understand. There needs to be a user friendly and simplified tool.
There should at least be a transition from a thread on the forum to an actual place on the website that people can utilize to see a pets worth if they're looking to trade.
The fair trade thread is fantastic but not everyone who posts gets an answer. This is where the change needs to start, to be able to address scamming valued pets from people who honestly don't know better.
Ideas would be: a 24hour window to reverse a trade, statistics to show how in demand a pet it or if value is rising or falling, transition of the rarity list to a website tool like the archive is.
