WHY PEOPLE ARE QUITTING CS- A Discussion

Tbh i would lvoe to see the cut monthly or event pets, or even store pet ideas, cause either the artist didnt like them, maybe the community does and itll be a great way to pick "should this be monthly or not" type deal

Can I just slip in my Patreon idea again? I think doing a Patreon subscription with "behind the scenes" stuff would be fun. Scrapped pet ideas, voting on the next month's store pet species, etc....which in turn, with enough Patreons would make maybe enough money to do the whole merch thing? Plushies, stickers, pins, etc.

This sounds like a really fun idea, and a great way for CS to make some money and reopen the CS Mall!
Speaking of money and the CS Mall, maybe the CS team could start a Makeship plushie campaign to make money? I would totally buy a plushie of Avian, and seeing pictures of the scrapped (?) Sunback plushie really makes me wish that the CS Mall could reopen.

as a compromise for the folks that want rereleased store pets and the folks that don’t, i think store pet 2nd gens would be fantastic!! imagine a raven dog x liontail litter, or a punk dog x marionette litter. i’d give anything to see some store pet 2nd gens :3

80% of us can't afford a raven dog but like . imagine a second gen raven with its own unique twist in the store? oh dude people would buy that up FASTTTTTTTT first uncommon store pets perhaps 😭😭

I might be wrong but I think there was an event or a second gen that ressembled the raven dogs

Popping in to say that I really dislike the idea of a Patreon. CS doesn't release enough content, or put enough effort into the website to be worth extras imo... And I personally don't think enough people would be interested. I can't see people putting money towards seeing what staff do. Adults with money don't care, and kids with money would prefer to put it towards store pets. That's my opinion as a current adult that was also a kid when on cs.

Here's me daydreaming, but... I remember back in 2010/2011 that CS manned booths at cosplay/furry/anime conventions. It was super cool and they sold CS merch and fun jazz. It marketed to the very people that would be interested in CS in the first place. I wish that never stopped. Getting to meet cs staff in real life and meet CS users in real life in a safe setting sounds so fun. I would do anything to go to a cs booth and get a sunback plushy </3

Always gonna support 2nd gen stores whenever it comes up, I think it'd be such a fun way to "remix" the community favorites and give more people a chance to get those old designs without having to pay premium price (since that has been a complaint that has come up here)!

OOO, maybe making plushies of the most loved pets, or have the community vote for which one they want turned into a plushie? Im a plushie addict so id so buy it in a heart beat

just wanted to mention that i made a separate forum post for the 2nd gen store pets idea, feel free to show it your support there!! the more people see it, the more staff might feel inclined to implement it :D
