Tbh i would lvoe to see the cut monthly or event pets, or even store pet ideas, cause either the artist didnt like them, maybe the community does and itll be a great way to pick "should this be monthly or not" type deal

Can I just slip in my Patreon idea again? I think doing a Patreon subscription with "behind the scenes" stuff would be fun. Scrapped pet ideas, voting on the next month's store pet species, etc....which in turn, with enough Patreons would make maybe enough money to do the whole merch thing? Plushies, stickers, pins, etc.

Patreon doesnt sound that bad of an idea, but might be hard to execute

I think branching out to more social medias and having some staff as PR/Social media managers for certain things would be really good and help bring people in. Spreading the reach of CS can help bring in so many new people! Also I think it'd be cool if those social medias held polls or like did show sneak peaks like you guys are saying. This is a really good idea and I hope it goes in the google doc that was being made last night for this thread!

This is entirely off track of what’s going on in the thread right now, but my biggest “issue” is how hard it is for new player (even though it’s been 3 years for me) to trade for older pets.

All the “wealth” I have comes from off site trading and ofc I’d like to keep those because I only have the one. Since my goal is wanting one of each pet, but I don’t see that even happening due to the complexity and values of the trade market. I’ve mostly accepted that I won’t be likely to complete any years from before I joined myself (sans URs because even that without a fountain of old pets is impossible unless you’re pulling it yourself from dec 18).

I haven’t got a real clue how to fix this, but I’ve seen a lot of good suggestions like re-running events, more dec 18 days, more/higher chance of rare adopt with normal monthlies and so on.

Disclaimers I haven’t gotten to read this entire thread, and I’m sure someone’s already mentioned this.

as a compromise for the folks that want rereleased store pets and the folks that don’t, i think store pet 2nd gens would be fantastic!! imagine a raven dog x liontail litter, or a punk dog x marionette litter. i’d give anything to see some store pet 2nd gens :3

80% of us can't afford a raven dog but like . imagine a second gen raven with its own unique twist in the store? oh dude people would buy that up FASTTTTTTTT first uncommon store pets perhaps 😭😭

THISSS. i am in love with this idea so much, you have no idea. i've been wanting a raven dog ever since i first joined in 2016, and the idea of having it bred with another store pet would be amazing.

it would not come with the risk of depleting the original value of the raven, while also putting another set of (definitely popular!!) store pets into rotation. you'd better bet i would spend most of my c$ on a litter like that.
