For Easter - I would love to see cascarones! Could make a cute series of pets or items. They are eggshells that are emptied out and filled with confetti. They originated in China, eventually being used in Spain and then Mexico. They became popular in US and Mexican border states to for Easter. Smashing them (more polite to crack them and let the confetti fall down) over someone's head is supposed to bless them and bring them good luck.

As it’s Eid I feel like I have to suggest a Ramadan or Eid event! I know there was a mini one a few years ago but I’d love to see it again!

i know it was mentioned on the front page that there arent any april fools changes made for accessibility purposes, but i think a silly april fools event that maybe changed the forums or even just the site layout would be fun and silly. maybe if accessibility is an issue, add an option to turn it off and link it on the front page ^^? apologies if this has already been discussed, but seeing the silly april fools events on games and websites is always something i look forward to, and i would love to see how chicken smoothie would interpret it! so if its an option i think it should be considered for next year :]!

i think a mothers' day and fathers' day event could be really nice to honor and celebrate all the parents that use this site (mother here!) and i have some cute ideas for it!

for mothers' day, there could be designs with pink carnations (which symbolize the love of a mother), lilies (new life, innocence, and fertility), and baby's breath (everlasting love). i absolutely adore some of the floral butterfly wolf designs, and i think a wolf is the perfect animal to symbolize the fierceness of a mother's love! i also think floral deer would look absolutely lovely, as the delicateness and innocence of a doe is perfect to symbolize motherhood!

for father's day, i had a bit more of a fun idea than a pretty one. i think hot dog designed dogs could be cute, or hamburger ones. there could even be a dog holding a spatula in its mouth and wearing a kiss the cook apron! thought that might be funny. maybe baseball themes (playing catch with dad), something like that! i think stags to go with the does i mentioned before could be really cool too!

I think Remembrance Day would be a nice event to celebrate. I feel very attached to Remembrance Day cause most of my family has military background and I think it would be nice to have pets to celebrate it.

My ideas for Remembrance Day, we could incorporate the idea of the 2025 St Patrick’s Day butterfly wolfs and fennec foxes, but instead of clovers we could do poppies. The snakes could be wrapped around a white gravestone cross with a poppy on it. For item giveaways we could do military uniforms, poppies and gravestones.

i noticed that there's some pets on the site that represent dia de los muertos, but they've been put in the halloween event, which i do find a bit disrespectful! dia de los muertos is very much NOT halloween, and there have been historical discriminations and prejudices against the event BECAUSE people keep associating it with halloween! as a mexican, i am requesting that those pets possibly be moved to the november archive, rather than halloween!

if this isn't possible, then i request that all future pets representing dia de los muertos be given either their own event category, or be placed in the november archive, as this is the month that dia de los muertos falls on!

honestly, i would love to see dia de los muertos receive its own event! its a very popular holiday, and it means so much to the people who celebrate it! and as a mexican, i wish to open it to you all to celebrate your loved ones as well! i think there could be some adorable pet designs, like calavera pets, or alebrije pets! even representations of the protectors of the afterlife! i think this could be a beautiful event, with beautiful pets and items to go with it, and i would love to see it considered!

Idk how to do this so I just think doing something for mental health awareness wouldnt hurt just a little reminder to check in on those you care about even if everything seems okay

i think a Mexican Fiesta event for summer could be really really fun

you could do pets themed off of various popular Mexican foods, like pan dulce, aguas frescas, and tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and tostadas, and horchata!






plus it would be a great way to add more cultural stuff to the site! mexican food is comfort food, and i think it would be so fun to adopt pets based on it and watch them grow!
