For whatever its worth, CS has done raffles in the past. Looks like all you had to do to enter was click a button. I think this would be fun even if pets aren't listed as prizes like in this example and i just really want those stickers ok

the idea of an official monthly raffle funded by players is interesting and sounds like lots of fun (reminds me of how giveaways in cs discord servers work), but i don't like the idea of having to visit a page hourly to get more tickets. i really like how playing cs is low maintenance and doesn't encourage obsessive site checking (outside of the token events! but they're short and there's the banner limit). i would definitely support a monthly pet raffle if you just had to click a button once to be entered like the previously done sticker raffle that softpaw linked!

My biggest question is how people would enter. Is it free to enter?

You could have people donate pets to the pound in order to enter, could be a good way to incentivize that as well

i like this idea a lot- however i feel like the anticipation of possible drama/arguing/harassment are probably offputting enough for staff to not want to do regular giveaways :(

i'm also unsure about the need for it to be player funded, as i feel like it'd be easy to exploit for users to get their name in front of a lot of users.

the pet ID being easy to see would lead people to the winners account, and if someone won who was already considered rich/somehow undeserving got it, there's a pin right on them, you know? could probably be avoided by not revealing the specific pet in an initial post, but that feels against how CS giveaways are structured too, it takes away the proof... not sure. i want more official events like this on site between bigger things, but the logistics make it difficult
