I agree with both of these. It's not an offensive term, nor is it disrespectful. Like a user stated earlier, if we change this it will make more people complain about small things they find hurtful or rude. While yes, smaller issues should be solved, this one is far too small.

you can simply choose to read OMG as "oh my gosh" instead as there are multiple ways of interpreting it, I dont see why there would be a need to change something like this. This is just a silly website for pets, lets keep it that way and not bring religion into the choices we make, as far as I'm aware this is a simple issue that can be easily corrected with the way you perceive the phrase "OMG"/nm

No support. i really don't think omg relates to religion at all its so popular like everything uses omg and i find that changing the name from omg to something else would probably cause more of an issue then just leaving it as it is

i hope i dont come of as rude but...i dont get all this. We have so much problems in this world and so much is going on and we really should think about something like this? like....OMGSR means like OH MY GOD ITS SO RARE....why is that offensive? i mean...Maybe im just plain stupid or dont have enough empathy but i dont want to be rude....it just...irritates me because we should talk about really important things in the game, if we put out real life things, but not about...names. Some people don't like it due to I think religious reasons, but the thing is that it is disconnected from religion.
