i don’t know if this is possible but discord has a thing set in place that if an unknown IP address/location attempts to login to your account than it prevents you from logging in and has you check your email to click the confirmation code. I feel like this would be a good solution too to catching hackers before they get into the account ~ if you get an email saying an attempted login from an unknown location was sensed but you never left town, than admin can be contacted and maybe the problem can be resolved before it even starts.
This was just a thought, I don’t know how it would work out but I definitely think email safety needs to be used c:

Support! I know Amazon and Google use this. I don't how how easy it would be to implement and code though.

big support!! this would be really useful in so many instances- and not only would it protect the normal members on this site, it may also be quite useful for the mods and higher ranks on here to keep their accounts safe with 2FA! really good idea :D

Supporting this and 2FA after having a reverse trade throw me into negative balance after a hacker bought and adopt from me. There's no reason to not be upgrading security as bad apples start showing. One hacked account can effect as many people as the hacker can trade which doesn't really have a limit. I think this is a step in the right direction!
